Yoonig is my bias and no matter how many times I watch this, it never fails to give me chills. Such a great song and MV.

Yoongi doesn’t try to hide his shadow but rather embraces it and acknowledges that it’s a part of him. Which is why this song will always be BRILLIANT

There are no words for how much this song resonates with me. He is one of the best rappers/lyricists in the world. The way he talks about life is so relatable and down to earth and yet still somehow transcendent as well. Hoping he knows how much he has gifted the world with his music.

I want to agree but I can't. ARMY should know BTS and their shadow, Yoongi isn't the type to sugar coat anything. He's mentioned the conflict within himself as far back as AGUST D. I think it's more so about the general public. Boy With Luv was happy and light for a reason, but MOTS:7 will tackle darker, artistic, and... Deeper... Topics in the BTS style. ARMY has seen them do this, but not as heavily as before. The contrast is supposed to prove a point to the crtics and locals and antis. BTS would never turn their back from us just for clout. They love us, but there are consequences to everything, even your greatest dream coming true. Or, that's just my theory.

I feel that. Fame really can be a double-edged sword. As a fan, you're proud of their success but at the same time, knowing that in a way you contribute even the slightest bit to their anxiety's now that they've reached a certain worldwide status...All I wanna do is give 'em a big hug and remind them that they're strong enough to overcome their shadows :(
